ABOUT TWO BIRDS
Two Birds is a premium egg brand built on a simple belief: an everyday purchase can do twice the good. Every carton delivers eggs with rich, golden-yolks from hens raised with room to roam, while helping provide weekend food for kids facing food insecurity through our partnership with Blessings in a Backpack. They're great eggs, serving a greater purpose.
Every carton creates two positive outcomes. First, you get high-quality eggs from hens raised with care. Second, your purchase helps provide weekend meals for children facing hunger through Blessings in a Backpack. One simple choice does twice the good.

OUR MISSION
A portion of proceeds from each carton supports Blessings in a Backpack’s work to ensure weekend food is accessible for children who might otherwise go without.
Two Birds donates $0.20 from each carton to Blessings in a Backpack. We also track dollars donated and hunger-free weekends for kids, as well as share impact progress on this page so you can see what your everyday purchase is helping make possible.
Buying eggs is already part of many families' weekly routine. We saw an opportunity to turn that simple habit into something that helps nourish your family, supports more humane farming practices, and helps provide food for children facing weekend hunger. That's the kind of impact we believe should be built into every carton.
Blessings in a Backpack is a nonprofit that helps provide weekend food for children who may not have reliable access when school isn't in session.
By partnering with schools and local communities across the country, the organization helps ensure kids have food they can count on from Friday afternoon through Monday morning. Through our partnership, a portion of proceeds from every carton of Two Birds Eggs helps support that mission.Add reaction
Yes. According to Blessings in a Backpack, weekend food programs help children in more ways than one. Kids report feeling more supported by their communities, better able to help their families, and more prepared to learn when they return to school.
A meal can do more than satisfy hunger—it can help children feel cared for and ready to thrive.
Blessings in a Backpack works directly with schools and local communities to identify where support is needed most. Their teams oversee distribution, helping ensure food reaches the children and families who need it most.
Giving back isn't a campaign—it's part of how Two Birds does business.
Our partnership with Blessings in a Backpack is built into every carton we sell, and we'll regularly share updates about the impact we're making together. We believe doing good should be transparent, measurable, and part of every purchase—not just a promotion.

OUR EGGS
At Two Birds, pasture raised means our hens have the space and freedom to roam, forage, scratch, and behave naturally outdoors, with a safe place to roost indoors at night. Each hen has at least 108 square feet of pasture to explore.
We believe better eggs start with better care—and you can see the difference in every rich, golden yolk.
Yes. Our pasture raised farming practices are independently verified through Certified Humane®, giving you added confidence that our standards for animal care are being met.
Two Birds Eggs come from a network of dedicated farm partners across the United States. We partner with farmers who share our commitment to pasture access, thoughtful animal care, and consistent quality.
Many people notice a richer flavor, firmer whites, and more vibrant golden yolks in pasture raised eggs. We think the difference starts with how the hens are raised. The best way to experience it is to crack one open and taste it for yourself.
Just like people, no two hens are exactly alike. A hen's age, breed, and natural laying cycle can all affect the size of the eggs she lays.
While you may notice slight variation from egg to egg, every carton is graded to USDA size standards before it reaches your kitchen.
Every carton is marked with a sell-by, best-by, or use-by date to help you enjoy your eggs at their best. Keep your eggs refrigerated and stored in their original carton to maintain freshness.
If your carton has a sell-by date, the eggs can generally be enjoyed for up to 30 days afterward if they've remained properly refrigerated and the shells are uncracked.
GENERAL
Keep your eggs refrigerated in their original carton to help maintain freshness and protect them from absorbing odors. For best quality, store them on an inside shelf rather than the refrigerator door, where temperatures fluctuate more often.
Yes. Our cartons are recyclable in most curbside recycling programs. Check your local recycling guidelines for specific requirements in your community.
